Hancock County Youth Assistance is a free and voluntary program that serves youth ages 3-17 and their families. We assist families who live within Hancock County and either attend public, private, charter, or a home school.
Our goal at HCYAP is to support any child/family that is going through a difficult life circumstance.
We want to give families the tools and options that will help them have continued success and know that they don’t have to go through life’s difficulties alone.
Healthier relationships and lifestyle choices – Better attitude about school – Higher educational aspirations – Enhanced self-efficacy and cognitive skills – Improved behavior, both at home and school – Stronger relationships with parents, teachers, and peers – Improved interpersonal skills
